Family Care Links

This is a local charity affiliated to the Southwell Diocese and supporting families to provide stability for children. At St Peter's the congregation collect money throughout the year in Family Care bottles. In the last four years well over GBP1000 has been raised by this method. Also toys are collected before Christmas at a special Toy Service and these are then given to needy families.

Here is an extract from a letter from Beatrice Jackson, Family Care, Nottingham, about the results of our Christmas Toy Service a couple of years ago: 'It has been a very humbling experience to witness the amount of care and thought taken in choosing and giving gifts. Even in these difficult times people have clearly dug deep to still think and care about others less fortunate than themselves'.
