Ecumenical Links

St Peter's hosts the Women's World Day of Prayer service on the first Friday in March each year. A small committee of representatives from various Churches meets together to plan the service, which is attended by members of the Methodist, Roman Catholic, Baptist and Ashwood Churches along with members of our own congregation.

A recent initiative is "Together in Ravenshead", a connecting point for Christians from different Churches. At its first meeting in June 2008, there was a positive response from the 25 people attending from seven Churches. The group met again in St Peter's Lounge in October and plans to repeat the pattern at three-monthly intervals.
