Church Hall and Lounge

The present Church Hall was the original St Peter's, built in the late 1940s from an ex Ministry of Defence hut. Since then it has undergone many refurbishments and alterations and in spite of its advancing years remains a very serviceable and much-used facility. Further improvements have recently been made to the hall and kitchen. The Church has an active programme in progress to demolish the hall and build St Peter's Community Centre. Occasional reports on this appear in Newspage.

The Lounge is situated inside the main church building but separate from the church itself. It is comfortably furnished, contains a grand piano and is used for Wednesday morning Holy Communion, PCC and other meetings, choir practice and social gatherings.

Hire of Church Hall

- Accommodates 140 people maximum seated at tables,
200 maximum theatre style.
- Full kitchen and toilet facilities.

One-off bookings:
Evenings - 6 pm to 11 pm (Friday & Saturday 12 midnight) GBP11.00 per hour
Daytime - 9 am to 6 pm - GBP11.00 per hour
Regular bookings: -
Any time - GBP7.00 per hour.

- Accommodates up to 50 people theatre style.
- Small kitchen adjacent, with urn, kettle and sink for light refreshments.
- Toilet facilities, including those for disabled users.
